This is life drawing, but not as you know it 🤫
Cloud Nine curates unique life drawing experiences for artists in the Inner West. From our base at Shibari Sydney in Marrickville, we host models and performers from the worlds of aerial artistry and kink. Whether it’s hoop or sling; rope bondage, or even food play, we aim to create a drawing experience that inspires you!
Our Performer:
You already know and love Em Jade from her life drawing sessions with aerial chains. Em returns to Cloud Nine this month with the apparatus that started her aerial journey. Em’s poses on the aerial hoop (lyra) are sure to inspire you to create.

Our Most Frequently Asked Question:
“Do we draw the model while they are spinning on the hoop/sling/pole😱?!". Rest assured, the model holds static poses for you to draw. Generally the short poses are the more dynamic ones held in the apparatus/off the ground, whereas the longer poses are ground based. Model safety is our priority! Given the physicality involved in holding poses, timings are adjusted according to the model’s needs.
