Cold Hands Warm Heart

Bark. Branches. Stones. Clay. Cold Hands Warm Heart is a Narrm-based collective of musicians who seek to pay homage to nature by evoking it through experimental soundscapes. A fallen tree, teeming with life. The swell of a river, after rain. This is music that draws attention to deep time by inviting deep listening. For this iteration the ensemble will feature Genevieve Fry, Esala Liyanage and special guest Frankie from Raspberry Terrapin

Chloe Alison Escott

Chloe Alison Escott has been the vocals and electronics half of post-punk duo the Native Cats since 2007, but she's been singing and playing piano all by her lonesome for even longer than that. Her lyrical themes include romantic longing, internalised shame, self-acceptance, dreams, paradoxes, impossibilities, classic literature and weird new video games; her piano trademarks include block chords, octaves, major and minor sevenths, and an impressive handspan.

Bing/Santospirito

Bing/Santospirito are Natalya Bing (violin, piano, cello, percussion) & Joshua Santospirito (guitar, piano, synths, percussion), performers, composers and artists.

Natalya and Joshua live in Lutruwita (Tasmania, Australia) and create hypnotic improvised soundscapes using elements from classical improvisation combined with noise / improv / jazz music. They often collaborate with visual artists and filmmakers to create fully immersive performances which have been staged at major festivals and underground venues.

Accessibility

The Studio is accessible only via 2 flights of stairs, and so is not wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch with Eastmint [email protected] or Esala 0412106430 for any other accessibility information.
