dj pgz:

dj pgz is a Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist, DJ and producer, harnessing a deep love for underground club sounds from around the world. His sets explore the contemporary works of Black and Brown producers in dance music, fusing hard techno with dark, sparse and bass heavy drum syncopations. With an appetite for anything that makes you move, dj pgz’s genre bending style is truly all killer and no filler. Alongside an illustrious DJ and production career, dj pgz has cemented himself as a mainstay in the Australian music scene through his work as a radio presenter (Good Static on Triple R), filmmaker (Young Mob Questioning Treaty), drummer (DRMNGNOW & Kee’ahn) and co-curator of the BLK ICE event series with many new and exciting projects on the horizon.

Tangela:

Tangela’s roots are entangled in Sydney’s bitumen and brickwork. An FBi Dance Class graduate of 2020, Sydney has nourished her love of electronic music and pushed her to grow as a DJ. Tangela’s sound is all about feel good, groovy, minimal beats full of squelchy bleeps, killer fem vocals, and a healthy smattering of UK Garage. She is the co-founder of Douglas Street, a service which offers weekly livestreams and accompanying podcasts, championing local talent.

Brown Suga Princess:

Brown Suga Princess is the newest force plunging her way into the bass world. Effortlessly combinining UKG, booty bass and jungle with South Asian riffs, Brown Suga Princess will use her one-of-a-kind sound to move a dance floor towards hot & dirty bliss. In a Brown Suga Princess set you can expect to discover music from the depths of the internet or the depths of nostalgia woven into a 140-driven narrative that is both emotional and dance-focussed.

Jungist:

Hong Kong Born and Eora based, Jungist aka Zoe is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Decay Audio; an events and mix series dedicated to dark and experimental dance music, the mix series is a platform for artists to experiment and show off another side of their taste. Her mixes are introspective, dark and broody, featuring broken beat, distorted bass, noise, break-core and jungle, harnessing inspiration from the likes of aya, Pessimist, Azu Tiwaline, ZULI and Autechre.
