Cum inside the TROLL HOLE and relinquish yourself to the decadent sweetness and familiar warmth we all yearn for on balmy Boorloo nights. As cozy as the soft-dyke next door and as extravagantly rancid as the entrance to the sewer kingdom, this HOLE is waiting to be filled with fellow TROLLS dolled up in head to toe CHAOS.

WHAT IS A TROLL HOLE: Hole à la troll is a local gathering place for messy queers and bimbo gremlins who like it wet ‘n’ juicy. It is the hole/s of a troll and the trolls of holes. It is a FLINTA-to-the-front party for the QUEERS and their ALLIES (talk valantina!)

⭑ Companion Card holders can attend free (+free entry for companion)

⭑ ENTRY: If waiting in the entry queue is not compatible with your accessibility needs, let the door staff know and they will let you skip the queue.

⭑ TOILETS: There is 1 unisex accessible bathroom, gender-neutral toilets with urinals and FLINTA toilets (female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender). Use the toilet makes you feel most comfortable.

⭑ SEATING: stools, chairs with backs, 1 soft couch, cushions on the floor, wooden benches using the wall as backrest.

⭑ LIGHTING/EFFECTS: Low-intensity visual effects. No white strobes. Warm dim lighting inside. Smoke machine used outside occasionally.

⭑ WARM-UP HOUR: There will be no warm up hour prior to this event; HOWEVER the venue will be open to the public from 12pm. You can come get comfy in the space anytime you like.

⭑ DANCE FLOOR ACCESSIBILITY: The dance floor will be located on the lower section of the courtyard outside. This section of the courtyard is wheelchair accessible; however the upper-courtyard is not. There will be limited tables outside that are wheelchair accessible. If you would like us to reserve a table for you and your crew on the lower-courtyard, please DM us.

⭑ LOW-STIM CHILL AREA: At the stage inside the venue will be a cozy chill area for you to take a break from the event. There will be neutral lighting, comfy seating, quiet music and craft activities. There will be noise bleed from the courtyard and people waiting at the bar.

⭑ SMOKERS AREA: No smoking or vaping will be allowed inside the venue but the courtyard is a smoking and vaping area.

⭑ SCENTS: While we can’t guarantee the event will be scent-free, we discourage attendees from wearing perfumes, colognes, aftershave, soaps or other products with strong scents.

⭑ AUSLAN: The event will not be Auslan interpreted

⭑ SUPPLY STATION: Inside next to the bar will be free goodies like ear plugs, sensory toys, condoms, phone charging station, panadol, lollipops, gum, tampons etc. (take what you need, leave what you don’t).

⭑ IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE: event helpers will be identifiable with fluro yellow arm bands.

⭑ Masks are highly encouraged and appreciated. There will be free masks available upon entry and in the courtyard. We encourage you to bring your own if you can as we have limited supplies.

⭑ Please test before the event. If you test positive or a close contact of someone who has tested positive, please stay home.

⭑ Please use the hand sanitiser and masks available to you around the venue

⭑ Venue staff will be given access to masks, hand sanitiser and are strongly encouraged to test and stay home if they test positive.

⭑ If you aren’t able to attend due to COVID, contact us and we will reimburse your ticket.

⭑ The dancefloor is outside for airflow. The front and back door of the venue will be open for airflow. If you need a mask free breather outside the event you can exit and re-enter the venue via William Street (provided you have a stamp)

⭑ CONSENT, ALWAYS. Respect people’s boundaries. This includes touching performers & people’s outfits/hair.

⭑ Please never touch a person’s mobility aid without their consent.

⭑ Be mindful and respectful of people’s pronouns (If you don’t know, ask).

⭑ Take care of one another and be kind - this event is for community, not ego.

⭑ This is a judgment free zone! People should be free to express themselves however they choose, which extends to stimming, wearing noise-cancelling headphones… Any shaming behaviour toward another person will not be tolerated.

⭑ Our attendees are not here for the entertainment of the general public.

⭑ Venue staff have been briefed prior to the event on our house rules and the ethos behind this event.

Club Silly has a zero tolerance for any behavior that threatens the joy and safety of its attendees and the community. Anyone who cannot follow these simple house rules will be removed from the venue and banned from all future events.

The layout of this event is a little different from the previous, notably the back carpark chill zone area will not be open. As much as we would love love love to do events of that scale every time, it is beyond our capacity. BUT dont u worry little queer, there will be future events with the carpark open. We have done our best to create a similar chill vibe with in the standard venue layout.
