Club Vino is a social wine club and tasting designed to empower you with practical skills so you'll never second guess what to take to a dinner party, order at a fancy restaurant or what to give to a departing colleague that you didn't really vibe with.
We're back for round two in Ultra Culture's colourful kiosk space in Brunswick!
How it works
We'll guide you through three side by side tastings, sippin' six different wines total. We'll compare styles, explain the differences, and help you figure out what you actually like and why. It's semi structured but if you just want to sip and yap you're more than welcome.
The wine
For this event, we're partnering with Beyond the Glass, a Victorian producer making small-batch wines that are wild fermented, delicately made and truly Victorian.
Founded by winemaker Ciarán Hudson, Beyond the Glass balances traditional winemaking techniques with a little experimentation, working with fruit from across Victoria to create wines that are thoughtful, approachable and anything but boring. You might know them by their excellent labels featuring a few very good dogs.
Expect six wines with plenty of personality, poured side by side and ready for a good yap.
The space
Ultra Culture is a hidden gem tucked into the back streets of Brunswick, a fermentation workshop and kiosk known for leaning into flavour and creativity. We're taking over the space for the night, so come ready for something a little different to our usual venues.

Jordy and Mel are back following monthly sold-out events and some pretty lovely feedback along the way. Between them they bring WSET certification, experience in hospitality, wine retail and wine events, plus a love of bringing people together over wine. Club Vino combines the best of the bunch (hehe), built around Australian wine, good company and shared tables.

FAQs
- Do I need to know anything about wine?
Not at all!! Club Vino is built for curious drinkers at any level, no prior knowledge needed. It's semi structured, so ask as many questions as you like and we'll answer them all.
- Is wine included?
Yess! Your ticket covers six wines across three side by side tastings, plus all the learning materials for the night.
- Can I come alone?
Definitely, plenty of people do. It's a friendly, social crowd and there will be plenty to do and chat about!
- Is there parking nearby?
Parking is available, but we'd recommend catching public transport if you can. The 19 tram and Brunswick station are both a short walk from the venue. No drinking and driving!
- What's your refund policy?
We recommend only purchasing a ticket if you're confident you'll be able to attend. A fair bit of planning, preparation and admin goes into each event, so please treat your ticket as a commitment.
Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event. If your plans change closer to the date, please get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
- Can kids come?
No!!!! This is an 18+ event :)
