Event description

Julien and Marianne Pringot are French and passionate about Brazilian music. Julien plays the seven-string guitar and Marianne plays the flute. They first learned about choro (a traditional Brazilian music style) in Paris early 2000s. They arrived in Christchurch in January 2019 and created the Clube de Choro de Christchurch, bringing many passionate people together to play Brazilian music from choro, bossa nova, MPB and forró!

Come to Space Academy to hear us play:
Stephen plays the mandolin,
Allan plays saxophone and clarinet,
Marcel plays percussion,
Julien plays seven string guitar,
Marianne plays the flute.

After our concert, we will open up the stage for a jam session. All welcome to join us in playing Brazilian music!
