Overview:
Being part of setting and monitoring the Budget and understanding the monthly and annual financial reports is part of the legal responsibility carried by every Board or Committee member. This module will make sure you understand the basics of the regular reports you should be receiving and you'll learn what questions you should be asking.

Meet Kate
Kate has had a long career in the not-for-profit sector having been CEO of a range of industry, professional and charitable organisations in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. In 2011 she launched her own consultancy, providing advice, training and assistance on not-for-profit management including good governance, strategic and operational planning and organisational development.
She was National President of the Australasian Society of Association Executives and awarded a Life Membership of this organisation in 2013.
Kate was appointed Secretary and Public Officer of Zoos SA in 2013 and still serves on the Board in this capacity. In 2021 she decided to get more ‘hands on’ and is now also a volunteer Tour Guide at Monarto Safari Park.
