Event description

CMVic will be running a series of online workshops for community music leaders who are already using, or who wish to use, music software to prepare music or songs for their groups, whether that's online or face-to-face.  The first of these workshops will be on Monday 7th Sep from 4:30 to 5:45pm. The topic will be a brief overview of five key types of free or nearly free software:

  1. Notation software: Musescore
  2. Digital Audio Workstations: Audacity
  3. Bandlab and Garageband
  4. Video Editing software: Filmora 9
  5. Software for making shared projects and backing tracks: Acapella

We will then seek your feedback before deciding on the content of follow up workshops, but we are likely to delve deeper into selected packages, with participants sharing their own tips and tricks.
