The CULTURE
Jungist: 2000-2100 [DIGITAL]
Jungist is Hong Kong born, Eora based DJ, producer, promoter. Their sonic palette is organic, gritty, and dynamic - facilitating closed eye moments and dance floor introspection. Co-founder and director of Decay Audio, Jungist offers a platform for artists to take on a dark and experimental aesthetic with their events and mix series. Boosting the local scene and plugging international sounds, the mix series has become a much loved staple in the community and a place for discovery and uninhibited self-expression. Jungist's debut release 'Dark Room' came out in 22' and features on the Bass Water Freak Out compilation. Since getting on the DAW, Jungist has since released 'I've Lost Something' on Melbourne based label Back Pocket Slammers and 'Presence' under the collaborative moniker 'Swungist' with Sydney based artist Swisherman.
SPENG: 2100-2200 [DIGITAL]
speng is a rising DJ in the underground scene, delivering hard-hitting sets that blend breakbeat, prog, and acid into a seamless flow. With a background as a photographer, speng has been capturing the energy of the rave for years, and in 2023, made the leap behind the decks. His unique perspective on music and events has shaped his sound, giving him an ear for what truly moves a crowd. Having already supported names like Moktar, Logic1000 and Fadi Mohem, a major milestone for speng is his upcoming set at Lost Paradise this year. Known for his sharp mixing and diverse track selection, speng brings a fresh, raw energy that keeps dancefloors pulsing. Whether it's a deep progressive build or an acid-driven banger, speng creates an atmosphere that pulls you in and keeps you locked.
Eric Carney: 1900-2000 [VINYL|DIGITAL]
Eric Carney adopts rhythmic house and groove-ridden bass lines in order to lose his audience in the dance floor. He crafts his influences of 90s dance music to blend piano riffs, euphoric breaks and sustained bass through vinyl and digital set-ups to give listeners a rave nostalgic of where electronic music began. Eric has graced the stages of S.A.S.H, The Basement, Abercrombie, supporting the jungle giants at Greenwood and many more.
Elofield: 1800-1900 [DIGITAL]
