Event description

Come and join Valerie Hannon, global education thought leader, innovator and researcher, as she leads a co-creation workshop to consider and design what education could look like for our future generations. Valerie was a well-received opening keynote speaker at uLearn22 and it’s wonderful to be able to bring her to Aotearoa New Zealand for this hands-on workshop.

Using a systems thinking approach Valerie will challenge attendees to reset and co-create what ‘success’ will look like in 2030 and beyond, and to consider what are the implications for those working in education, and how to work towards changing the status quo.

The all-day workshop comprises two sessions:

  1. Leading for the Future: Empowering our Learners | 10am – 12pm
What will leading schools fit for the future entail? How is it different to what we are doing now?
  2. Using Design Principles in transforming schools for the future | 1pm – 3pm
    The future school.
What is it? How will it operate? How do you actively participate in designing it?

Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS WORKSHOP?

Principals, School leadership teams, School Teachers & ECE Teachers.
