Co-production workshop
Event description
This is another essential workshop for busy leaders running charities and social enterprises in the East of England.
Co-production can be both a minefield and a phenomenal opportunity to do the right thing that enhances the lives of the people involved as well as your organisation.
This workshop will provide a space to consider what it is, when to do it, how to do it, considerations and ethics as well as dive into the Ladder of Participation and how it could practically work in your organisation.
As with all Hasler-White Inclusive Facilitation workshops, I will be using Pinpoint Facilitation to include everyone in the room, to provide an accountable space for peers to feel at ease and share with each other whilst bringing my own experience of developing lived experience within the organisation I founded and ran.
You'll leave with:
More knowledge and confidence about why to involve people with lived experience
More knowledge and confidence about how to involve people with lived experience
An understanding of the Ladder of Participation and how it relates to their organisation
An understanding of the ethical considerations in involving people with lived experience and how this effects decisions
More understanding of the importance of stigma, trust and the skills required to involve people with lived experience
And if you attend both November workshops, you'll get a free matrix document outlining level of participation and activities you can use
