Come along to Coast in Focus for an immersive, evidence-based art and wellbeing experience designed for everyone (children, young people, and adults) in coastal communities. Join Nature Play SA and deepen your connection to our beautiful coastal and marine environments.

This special 2-hour event connects participants to the coast through creative, hands-on activities, fostering curiosity, emotional resilience, and environmental stewardship.

Marine Biodiversity Exploration: Learn about local marine species and habitats, particularly those affected by the algal bloom.

Discover Dispositions & Watercolour Painting: Explore the behaviors and characteristics of local marine animals and express your observations through watercolour painting, combining learning with creative expression.

Sensory Experiences: Engage the senses in exploration with various objects including shells, rocks, aquatic treasures, and other tactile elements available to handle, learn about and be inspired by.

Feel empowered to meaningfully connect with our local marine environment. The event aims to raise awareness of biodiversity, promote emotional wellbeing, and encourage stewardship in coastal communities.
