Coastal Connections: A Marine Science Pizza Night

Ever wondered what's really going on beneath the surface of our coastlines and waterways? Shark Ecology Australia has partnered with Jacobs Well Environmental Education Centre for an evening of pizza and marine science stories for National Science Week 2026.

Three marine scientists, including our local shark researcher Johan Gustafson, will lure and submerge young and adult minds into the charisma of marine life and the science behind it. In a highly connected world, these scientists will share their real-life stories and research experiences, connecting sharks, environmental health and marine conservation with the locals over pizza.
