Designed to showcase LGBTQIA+ Central Coast artists to local, state-wide and national audiences, Coastal Twist Festival has been breaking regional boundaries since its launch in 2019, connecting the region’s thriving creatives with new opportunities, residencies, audiences and new opportunities for paid work as the region and its businesses opens up for visible inclusion and a better way moving forward.

‘RADICAL RADIANCE’

Kicks off on Tuesday 29th September 2025 at 6:30pm directly after the VIP launch come and mingle!

Designed to bring LGBTQIA+ communities across the Central Coast together, Coastal Twist Festival has been breaking regional boundaries since its launch in 2019, connecting the region's thriving creatives with new opportunities, residencies, audiences and pathways to paid work, while helping local businesses and communities embrace visible inclusion and a brighter future.

Join us as Coastal Twist 2026 officially launches with Radical Radiance, a dazzling evening of art, connection and celebration at Basement Gallery, FunHaus Factory.

Be among the first to experience the Coastal Twist 2026 Festival Exhibition, an inspiring showcase of work from emerging, established and youth LGBTQIA+ artists from across the Central Coast. Unapologetically creative, the exhibition reflects the diversity, resilience, imagination and joy of our community, offering a powerful snapshot of contemporary queer creativity across generations.

Meet the artists, explore a vibrant collection of artworks, and enjoy an opening night filled with colour, culture and connection. From first-time exhibitors to seasoned creatives, this exhibition celebrates the many stories, perspectives and experiences that make our community stronger together.

Venue Accessibility:
While some artworks may be displayed on the ground floor, the main exhibition space, The Basement Gallery, is one level below, accessible only via stairs. Unfortunately, there is currently no lift or alternative access. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re happy to help however we can.
