Event description

Two 90-minute sessions:  10am-11.30am & 12.30pm-2pm

Through VR headsets you will experience different marine environments around Aotearoa, learn about threats to our moana and our role as guardians.

A workshop for children and their parents supported by Blake NZ-VR and NZ Geographic.

Cost: $15/adult $10/child (over 10 years)

Booking essential. (Max 35 pax/session) 

Hosted by New Zealand Marine Studies Centre: The Marine Studies Centre provides a window into marine research at the University of Otago.  The Centre at Portobello showcases local marine life offering marine education programmes for all ages through hands-on marine experiences.
