Cobaw Biolink - 20 years of creating connections
Description
The Cobaw Biolink Project, also known as the Campaspe – Maribyrnong Headwaters Biolink, commenced in 2005. It aims to create a functional landscape connection between the Cobaw State Forest (north) and Macedon Regional Park (south), to provide critical habitat for a range of indigenous flora and fauna species.
In this presentation Ammie Jackson will talk about the importance of creating biolinks, how the Cobaw Biolink connects to other biolink projects in the landscape and the achievements by Newham & District Landcare Group over 20 years. We'll look at some of the future priorities and initiatives planned to build on the amazing work that's been achieved so far.
Ammie is a Landcare Facilitator, supporting 15 groups in the Upper Deep Creek Landcare Network and Jacksons Creek EcoNetwork.
