Cobbs Creek Mushroom Walk at CCCEC
Description
The Philadelphia Mycology Club is partnering with the Clean Air Council to bring a guided mushroom walk series to Cobbs Creek Park! Funding for this series has been made possible by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Meet in the parking lot of the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Center (down the hill from Cobbs Creek Parkway and Catherine St) at 11am. After a brief introduction, we'll have a slow walk around the park and talk about what we find.
Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks. Children are welcome. Dogs are also welcome, but please keep them on leash.
PMC events are free and open to everyone.
By registering for this event you grant the Philadelphia Mycology Club to use photographs and/or video of you taken at the event in publications, online, and in other communications related to the Philadelphia Mycology Club.
