Cockburn Small Business Connect - October Event with Guest Presenter Dr Sean Lee

Looking to grow your local business network?

Cockburn Small Business Connect is an initiative designed to bring local business owners, operators and business professionals together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you're looking to make new connections, share ideas, explore partnerships or simply meet others who share a common interest in growing their business in Cockburn, this event is for you.

This bi-monthly event, hosted by the City of Cockburn and rotating between locations across the City, provides opportunities to connect with local businesses in a variety of settings while helping to build a stronger, more connected business community. Each event features a guest speaker sharing insights, experiences and ideas to spark conversation, encourage networking and provide valuable takeaways for attendees.

For our October session, we’re pleased to welcome Dr Sean Lee, Associate Professor at Curtin University, as our guest presenter.

Sean teaches and researches across tourism, hospitality, entertainment, technology and consumer behaviour. He is also a self-taught AI app coder and co-founder of ANI Research, an AI-powered market research platform that won the Curtin Innovation Award in 2023.

Sean will lead an interactive AI-focused networking session.
