Coercive control is the foundation of every domestic and family violence situation. It can present uniquely for different communities.
The Forum aims to increase understanding and awareness of Coercive Control, the new law coming into effect in 2024, and support services available.
Speakers include Kingsford Legal Centre, Centre for Women’s Economic Safety, Immigration Advice and Rights Centre, Wirringa Baiya, People with Disability Australia and ACON.
The Forum will include case studies, panel discussion and launch of the Eastern Suburbs Coercive Control Card in 4 languages.
