Life is a rollercoaster and throws up both opportunities and roadblocks, it’s what you do when you get to them that makes the difference. Pam Brook has had many careers, Dentist, Ski Instructor, Businesswoman, Business leader, Farmer, Author, Mother and Grandmother. She’s spent her life on a journey of discovery, meeting inspirational people and learning from life experience along the way. In this talk she’ll share managing and thriving on the roadblocks that life throws at you including the ones we create ourselves. How to achieve success and what it looks like when its built on connection and heartfelt collaboration.

Pam has extensive experience in product & brand development, and sustainable business management. She has a passion for the growth and development of the regional food industry. She believes in balanced nutrition based on real food, a healthy sustainable food chain and sharing meals with family and friends.
Best known for:
- Cofounding Brookfarm with her husband Martin Brook in 1999. Brookfarm is Australia’s leading producer of gourmet macadamia products, granolas, mueslis, & healthy snacks.
- Co-Founder of Cape Byron Distillery – founded in Nov 2016 with Eddie, Martin, Will and renowned Scottish distiller Jim McEwan.
- Chair of Northern Rivers Food, a food industry group she helped establish over 9 years ago, now with over 175 members in the Northern Rivers.
