Join us for a networking reception on Friday, 29th November, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the University of Adelaide.

We’re excited to welcome Roman Hevzda, Director of ELI Beamlines, the world's most advanced laser facilities located in the Czech Republic, which delivers groundbreaking research and innovation in the fields of physics, medicine, biology, and material science.

Roman will deliver a brief presentation on the ELI Project, highlighting exciting collaboration opportunities for South Australia’s photonics community.

Areas of potential collaboration include:
-  Laser-driven fusion
-  Advanced design and manufacturing
-  Joint education initiatives
-  Staff exchanges and internships
-  Support for young, talented researchers

Professor Miftar Ganija, Founder of DualTech-USPL Research Group, Faculty of SET, will also provide an overview of the development of a USPL eco-system of Research and Talent in Australia at the University of Adelaide covering Clean Energy, Defence, Health, Industry and Science and its impacts for Australia and the Scientific Community.
