Are you interested in purchasing land collaboratively to live harmoniously with others?

There are a lot of reasons that people explore purchasing land with others. It could be combining resources to purchase the land you really want, building social connections and working together, or because it is a really sensible thing to do for our planet... or all of them.

It may seem as easy as getting a bunch of people to put money in together and it will just pan out.

Well...no. It takes time, a structured process, clear agreements, respectful communication and a commitment to co-create community.

Jason (Djalmbu) Hilder has studied intentional communities throughout the world for over 20 years and lived in communities in South East Queensland for nearly ten years. During this journey he has seen first hand what works and what doesn't in collaborative communities. To coach people to others co-create the best version of community possible he has fine tuned a stepped process in a two day workshop as part of his services.

The workshop

As an attendee you will learn the foundational steps of community formation (below) and then be supported through each step to put it into practice. It is a mixture of individual and group work... just like community.

By the end you'll have a clearer picture of your future community and documented key areas for next steps. It is also very likely that you will build connection with others who are keen to purchase together too.

Cost

The cost for the workshop is a sliding scale starting at $250 to enable you to determine the exchange that is within your financial capability. The cost will cover the hire of the location and valuing Jason's time and expertise.

Location and catering

The workshop will be held at the Kandanga Farm barn.

To keep costs down and support sharing of food and local produce, we ask that you bring a plate of food to share in pot luck.
