Event description

In this workshop discover the exciting world of assemblage sculpture with artists Miguel Aquilizan & Jessica Dorizac!

Starting with a large sculpture sourced from found materials created by Miguel Aquilizan & Jessica Dorizac, participants will draw upon scavenged and ‘second hand’ materials to create new and exciting sculptural forms.

Over the session, participants have the option to add their weird and wonderful creations to the larger group sculpture, which will then be exhibited in The Condensery for the remainder of exhibition Pilgrimage: Remote Animisim & Ornamental Displacements.

During this construction process, artists Miguel Aquilizan & Jessica Dorizac will share their approach to shape, pattern, ornament and design which informs much of their collaborative artwork.

All materials are provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fabric, wood offcuts or other found materials.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult.
