Event description

Collage, Tile Design & Japanese Bind Workshop

No experience is required, you will be taught all you need to know and the very nature of a Zine is low-fi and accessible. So what is a Zine? Independent or self-published publications, often handmade, and informed by DIY ethos. In the workshops, we are focusing on Japanese binding. We explore collage and tile pattern design to the theme of your choosing...

We have many ideas up our sleeve in case nothing comes to mind. This is an opportunity for you to connect with like-minded people, and explore a new medium perhaps or at least a new format.

All materials are supplied but if you have old magazines, drawings, photos, fabric scraps or a particular medium you would like to include then you are welcome and encouraged to bring them along. Especially if you want to focus on one particular colour.

This Event is intended for children 11 - 18 years.
