Collagraph Printing Workshop for kids - 16th April

Have fun at Bayley Arts during the school holidays and learn how to make your own collagraph.
This workshop is designed especially for kids aged 8yrs to 12yrs to explore printmaking. 

WHAT IS COLLAGRAPH PRINTING?
Collagraph printing is a process whereby materials are glued or sealed onto a rigid surface to create a textured plate. Once inked, the plate can be used to imprint the design onto paper with or without a printing press. 

Our tutor Cecilia Jacobs will teach students how to create a textured design using a variety of found materials, and how to use various printing tools including the printing press. Collagraph printing is a simple and fun printing method and the perfect workshop to introduce children to the art of printmaking.

Includes all materials and lots of fun!
