Collections Kōrero: The Art of Birds

We're excited to bring you a Bookish fringe festival edition of our newly created Collection Kōrero: The Art of Birds. The Alex librarians are big bird-lovers, so to support Forest and Bird's hotly contested 'Bird of the Year' we're bringing out all our beautiful rare bird books for the public to get a chance to get up close and personal with iconic works. These include original copies of Buller's A History of the Birds of New Zealand and Audubon's Birds of America. We'll be talking about the history and cultural impact of these beautifully illustrated works.
