Collective Earth Alter Creation and Sunset Sound Bath
Event description
Collective Earth Alter Creation & Sunset Sound Bath
Happening on:
Thursday 14th December
5pm – 8pm
Scarborough (outdoor beach location)
What to expect:
Earth Altar creation guided by Prue (Earth Altering).
We will be creating our Altar with materials mindfully foraged in nature from the area. Prue will share about how you can use your Altar to honour the directions and the elements (fire, water, air & earth) within and around us.
We will set some intentions to include in our creation and burn the things we would like to let go of in ritual, during a sharing circle, before beginning the beautiful collaborative experience of building our group Earth Altar.
Within the process everyone has the opportunity to bring their own unique energy and eye for detail to the project. Each group Altar has its own way of evolving and when the end product is finished, the subject reveals itself as an explosion of collaborative love!
There will be time for community connection, lots of laughter, beautiful photo opportunities and nibbles (BYO) once the Earth Alter is complete.
To honour the fifth Natural Element (Ether) Emily (The Sound Gypsy) will be weaving sound waves as the sun sets over the ocean. Simply lay back, get comfy and listen as Emily plays crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal bowls and chimes.
A sound journey not only calms the mind but can also activate the body’s system of self-healing!
Sound Bath benefits can include:
Improved sleep
Reduced feelings of stress or anxiety
Relief from physical pain or tension
