Collective Liberation through Sex Education

Join us for a fun and sexy evening at Drip Collective in the West Loop. We’re teaming up with our besties from Chicago United Solidarity Project and the badass folks from Sexpectations for a panel discussion centering reproductive justice and sex education and the role they play in our collective liberation. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the panel will begin around 7:00 pm.

For folks who want to hang out after the talk, we’ll have an opportunity to craft, vision board, and make some zines around what a liberated community could look like!

Of course we’ll have a raffle, some good food from ArePA George and Snackie Chan, and drinks (N/A and alcoholic).

This event is 18+.

We will have alcoholic drinks available. A valid ID will be required to receive a drink wristband.

Sliding-Scale Tickets

Our goal is to make our events as accessible as possible. That’s why we offer sliding-scale options. When registering, please select the payment level that works for you. For guidance, we’ve provided the reference below based on work done by Alexis J. Cunningfolk and Britt Hawthorne.

Option 1: $30

• I frequently stress about meeting basic needs* and don’t always achieve them

• My debt sometimes keeps me from meeting my basic needs

• I am unemployed or underemployed

• I have limited or inconsistent access to savings

• I have very limited expendable income**

• I rarely buy new items

Option 2: $40

• I may stress about meeting my basic needs* but still regularly achieve them

• My debt doesn’t keep me from meeting my basic needs*

• I am employed

• I might have access to financial savings

• I have some expendable income**

• I am able to buy some new items and I thrift others

Option 3: $50

• I am comfortably able to meet all of my basic* needs

• My debt doesn’t keep me from meeting my basic needs*

• I am employed or do not need to work to meet my needs

• I have access to financial savings

• I have an expendable** income

• I can always buy new items

Student Rate (ages 18-24): $10

*Basic Needs include food, housing, health care, and transportation.

**Expendable Income might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.
