Event description

Join us for the vibrant performance and choreography of Collective Writing – Collective Dancing! This is a unique partnership between nipaluna/Hobart’s youth dance company DRILL Performance Company Inc and The Story Island Project, capturing original stories written, illustrated, and danced by 16 awesome and brave young people of Junior Company (ages 9 – 12.)

Collective Writing – Collective Dancing has looked at the intersection between creative writing, in the form of narrative, poetry and abstract reflections, and choreography with DRILL’s youngest voices and imaginations. The stories celebrate their relationship to their body and movement and the characters that occupy their imaginations. Please note, audience members will stand or sit on the floor.  If you need a chair, please note this at the checkout.
