College of Science and Medicine HDR Welcome Event
Event description
The Associate Dean HDR (Prof Tony Travouillon) would like to invite you to the first HDR Welcome Event of 2025 - this is an informal gathering for new Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates, and their supervisors to socialise with others from across the College of Science and Medicine (CoSM).
The event will include an overview of the HDR life cycle as well as Panel sessions with current HDR candidates, and academic supervisors sharing their experiences and tips for a positive journey and successful research outcome.
This event forms part of the ANU HDR Induction week activities and is specifically for candidates within the College of Science and Medicine, which includes the following research schools.
- John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR)
- Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA)
- Research School of Biology (RSB)
- Research School of Chemistry (RSC)
- Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES)
- Research School of Physics (RSPhys)
- School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP)
Please register your attendance by COB Friday 04 April for the College Event and ensure you have registered for the ANU events also.
