Colombian Music Celebration & Networking

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Colombian music and community connection at our 4th Colombian Cultural Celebration at The Couch, International Student Centre.

Since 2022, this special event has brought together Melbourne’s international student community, and this year promises to be the biggest yet!

What’s New This Year?

We’re introducing a dedicated networking from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering attendees the opportunity to connect directly with a range of organisations committed to empowering and supporting international students and multicultural communities.

A Night to Remember

In collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia in Australia, the evening will feature a live performance by TRIBU BAHARÚ - an electrifying Afro-Champeta crew from Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Touring Australia and Asia as part of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Strategy of Cultural Diplomacy, TRIBU BAHARÚ will bring their vibrant Caribbean rhythms and high-energy performance for one unforgettable night, offering Melbourne audiences a rare opportunity to experience the pulse of Afro-Champeta straight from Colombia.

This celebration also marks the lead-up to a significant milestone in 2025, the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Colombia, highlighting the strong and growing ties between our two nations.
