Event description
As part of the one month ARTiculate series in partnership with 107 Projects, Plate it Forward & the City of Sydney - Colombo Social will be hosting an Arts, Culture & Food Festival at 107 Green Square.
ARTiculate provides a platform to voices from marginalised communities. This vibrant exhibition will feature incredible artists like Digby Webster, Mostafa ‘Moz’ Azimitabar and Suzy Evans - The festival will also include an incredible kids workshop with 2022 Archibald prize winner Blak Douglas.
On Saturday at 4th June, Colombo Social staff will be running a long lunch table and there will be a selection of homemade spices and handicrafts made by the team.
Hear poetry from the incredible Hani Abdile, learn how to cook from Amma Christie-David, the matriarch of the restaurant and dine on a one-off, Middle Eastern inspired Sri Lankan menu.
The market and art gallery will be from 10am till 2pm.
