Event description

Are you ready to master the art of colour and transform interiors with confidence?

Join Petrina—an interior designer with over 30 years of industry experience and 15 years as an education specialist in interior design, styling, and colour—for an immersive, interactive workshop that will change the way you see and use colour forever.

This isn’t just theory—it’s colour brought to life. You’ll explore, experiment, and create, developing a deeper understanding of how colour works in real spaces. From bold statements to serene neutrals, you’ll learn the rules… and how to break them beautifully.

What You’ll Experience

In this dynamic, hands-on masterclass, you will:

  • Dive into colour theory and discover how to apply it effortlessly in your interiors.

  • Experiment fearlessly with colour palettes, undertones, balance, and contrast.

  • Learn how light, proportion, and harmony influence the mood of a space.

  • Curate and create your own mood boards and flatlays to visually bring your ideas to life.

  • All in the vibrant and inspiring studio of Melbourne artist Madeleine Stamer.

By the End of This Workshop, You Will:

  • Understand colour theory and its practical use in interior design.

  • Work skillfully with undertones to ensure your palette matches your vision.

  • Use balance, proportion, contrast, and light to elevate your designs.

  • Blend colours harmoniously to create spaces that truly resonate.

  • Confidently select and combine colours and materials, and leave with the ability to choose colours confidently, whether for dramatic impact or understated elegance.
