'COLOUR THEIR LIVES' Gala Ball

You are invited to join us at our Rotary District 9815 Partner fundraising event, 'Colour Their Lives' Gala Ball in support of the Monash Children's Cancer Centre.

MCCC provides a wide range of services to treat childhood and adolescent blood diseases and cancer in a state-of-the-art facility.

The purpose of the event:  To raise funds to enable much needed treatment for seriously ill children, which will prolong their lives and improve their quality of life.   

Enjoy a delicious 2 course meal including soft drinks, tea, coffee and chocolates.

Alcoholic beverages at bar prices

Dress to impress in colourful attire, perhaps add a little Hollywood or Bollywood style or even your 'national costume' to 'light up the room and the dance floor' with the lively music of the 'Baker Boys Band'.

The evening will include raffles, silent auctions and guest speakers.

The story behind the Partner Project:

My DG Partner fundraising events are dedicated to the memory of my brother TJ who passed away after a battle with cancer on Christmas Eve 1999. 

He hoped and prayed that he'd win his battle against cancer so that he could see his daughter grow up, but sadly it wasn't to be.

During the last 2 years of his life and during times of tremendous health struggles and treatment he set out on a journey with his wife and beautiful little daughter to raise funds to support children with cancer. 

Together they took part in two 'Camp Quality' car rallies and also ran dinner & silent auction events resulting in tens of thousands of dollars being raised to support seriously ill children. 

His quote 'NO child or their family should ever have to endure such pain and heartache'.

His own battle and that of our father who also passed away at a young age due to cancer made him so aware of the heartbreaking battles that children and their families endure. He was determined that in some way he would do everything in his power to make things a little easier for them.

Please help us to continue TJ's legacy by attending this event.

All money raised will help the Monash Children's Cancer Centre make a difference to the lives of many children and their families.
