Event description

Colours of Motherhood Birth Trauma Information Session

Birth Trauma is highly prevalent, but unfortunately support can be difficult to find and access. Come along to learn about why it's important to uncover birth trauma, especially for mums who are planning a subsequent pregnancy. This is a judgement free information session with a short talk from Lyndal Scerri answering your pre-submitted questions, followed by an open discussion and questions. You have the option to ask an anonymous question for Lyndal during your ticket checkout.

Lyndal is a Registered Midwife, Calmbirth Educator, a birth mentor and a mother of three. She is not only supporting women during birth, but during pregnancy and post-partum as well. She is guided by her values of Compassion, Empowerment, Respect, Holistic Care, Informed Choices and Collaboration.

The group will be a maximum of 20 people, to ensure there is sufficient time for questions.

Feel seen, and feel validated in your motherhood journey. This exhibition shares the stories of fifteen diverse mums, who have each contributed a story about a challenge they've experienced in motherhood. Rachel, from Scribbly Gum Photography has then created an unapologetic photo that represents their story.
