♟️ Battery Park City Spring Chess Classic

Open to students in grades 1 to 6 of all skill levels, from beginners learning the game to experienced competitors. Students from PS/IS 276, PS 89, and PS 9 are invited to participate in this friendly Lower Manhattan chess tournament.

📅 Saturday, April 18

🕤 Registration: 9:30 AM

♟️ Tournament Play: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

💵 Registration Fee: $55 per student

Tournament Format
• 4 rounds, Swiss system
• USCF rated and unrated players welcome

Students will compete in multiple rounds against players from neighboring schools while building strategy, focus, and sportsmanship in a welcoming environment.

🏆 Trophies and recognition will be awarded. ♟️
