COLUMBO'S DAY is the solo Fringe Festival hit in which we see Christopher Columbus commit a crime to be solved by Lieutenant Columbo. Through comedy, clowny, puppetry, performative lecture and light turntablism, solo performer Morgan FitzPatrick Andrews weaves together an inverted detective story about a renaissance man gone awry in his unhealthy obsession with pedestals and who we place upon them.

COLUMBO'S DAY premiered at the Pig Iron School's Dumb Hub in the 2026 Philadelphia Fringe Festival and is the first volume of the Nonsense Explorer Series, a chronicle that unpacks history and myth through the comedy of language. This encore performance will be proceeded by a veg chili dinner at 7:30 PM with the show starting a little after 8:00. Admission is free with your RSVP. Donations will be collected after the show.
