Combined Service Area Day

On 6th December, we are having a combined Service Area day, with staff attending from five separate service areas! Staff from Child and Family Services Loddon, Child and Family Services Loddon Mallee, Recovery Support and Early Supports, The Orange Door, and Care Hub have a fantastic opportunity to catch up with colleagues from different areas, and meet some new people!

Aunty Kelly and Uncle Les from Buldau Yioohgen will be attending to take part in a panel with us to start the conversation regarding Aboriginal culture, and to share some of their lived experience. To help facilitate this, we would like to hear from you.

• What have you always wanted to know but maybe you weren’t sure to ask?
• Where is the gap in your knowledge?
• What do you want to learn more about?

We are collecting questions for the panel to respond to via a survey at https://forms.office.com/r/0UHkZHEcXd You can submit questions anonymously, and submit as many as you like by revisiting the link. Can you please have all questions submitted by 5pm 17th November 2023 to allow time for us to collate them.

Are you a staff member who identifies as Aboriginal? We’d like to invite you to also be part of the panel with Kelly and Les – please reach out to your Team Leader / Program Manager if you’d like to be included.

We also have John Bonnice attending in the afternoon to talk with us regarding white privilege. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of hearing John speak, please ensure you’re present – this is an opportunity not to be missed!!
