Event description

GARDENS: pick up your map and tickets from the War Memorial Hall in Comboyne Street.

There are 6 country gardens to drive to.  For the village gardens, free parking will be available at the Showground and there will be a courtesy bus doing the village circuit. You may choose to stroll to the 4 village gardens from the Showground.  Tickets also available online & maps to be collected from the Hall.

WAR MEMORIAL HALL: The Hall is the information and exhibition centre - Art, history, quilts, Raw Earth Pottery, Comboyne Avocados & produce, to take home. While you are there enjoy a cup of tea, coffee and a sandwich.  The Comboyne Garden walk is the major fundraiser for the Comboyne War Memorial Hall, community owned and run.

THE VILLAGE: allow plenty of time for the Tractor Museum on Hill Street, call into Riverstone Treasures for retro & antique wares, swing by Eclectic & the Curious Plant Man where you will see the home of Raw Earth Pottery Studio & visit the Comboyne Farm Store, opened this year where you will find locally made timber products, jewelry, produce, gardening clothes & accessories plus much more. The Museum is a must, 2511 Comboyne Rd (tickets can be purchased here) & the Community Centre to purchase Comboyne history and cook books.  The Comboyne ex Servicemen's & Citizens Club will have the Bathurst 1000, screening inside and on the deck.

HUNGRY? buy a takeaway sandwich from the Hall, have Devonshire tea at the Museum, try the famous Udder Cow Cafe for excellent coffee and slow cooked food and wash it down with a cold drink sitting on the deck at the Ex Services Club, which will also be selling pizza from lunchtime. (there are many more food options at each of these venues)*we think it's a lovely way to spend a Sunday in Spring*
