come along, be with the pavement OPENING NIGHT
Event description
come along, be with the pavement
an art exhibition by Isabelle Concorde & Dom Lepore
Diary entries journalled with no proofreading. True and false exes. Experiences sewn together by a telephone pole’s poignant strings. Indie rock guitars made sad. Techno raps draining adulthood. Red’s colouring a bleeding heart. Sunshine’s yellows glowing bright. Dynamic graffiti spread across the concrete. Canine apparitions in the mirror. Visual shoegaze. Drab picket fences suffocating souls teeming with life.
This is everything and more we see in the suburbs.
Showing at Smith + Gertrude Gallery on 26 September–4 October.
Join us for opening night on 26 September 3–9pm, with live music starting at 5pm from Deer Life, Halfsunk, and Clara Darcy and the Medicine Women.
