Come and Sing - Fauré Requiem

Following the success of our last “Come and Sing” earlier in the year, we’re delighted to announce its return, this time, featuring Fauré’s Requiem Mass in concert.

Alongside this, we will sing the Souls of the Righteous by Geraint Lewis, and the concert will be bookended with hymns.

For those who wish to look at the music ahead of time, scores will be available for collection from the St. James’ Office. A PDF will also be made available to you upon purchase of your ticket. Alternatively, you can collect yours on the day.

The event will culminate in a Concert at 4pm, and we are happy to once again feature Brianna Louwen as our vocal coach and soloist. The workshop will be led by Warren Trevelyan-Jones, and the organ will be played by Marko Sever.

The dress code is smart casual.

11:00-1:00 Welcome, warmup, and rehearsal

1:00-2:00 Break for lunch (Crypt / Courtyard - BYO lunch)

2:00-3:00 Resume rehearsing

3:00-3:45 Tea break (Crypt / Courtyard)

4:00-5:00 Concert
