Come & Try Dance for Fitness
Event description
Dance for Fitness is a form of aerobic fitness exercise based on Latin American dance rhythms.
Dance Fitness uses the principles of interval training, alternating fast and slow sequences, to vary the intensity. Intensity is driven by the different rhythms of the music and the steps – salsa, reggaeton, cumbia, calypso, even a little hip-hop.
Participants are taught some basic easy-to-learn movements & the simplicity of the movements is part of the appeal.
The combination of dance, music, and exercise can effectively destress and relieve anxiety as well as targets lots of different muscle groups at once for total body toning. Also boosts heart health aiding aerobic & anaerobic benefits.
What do you need for a Dance for Fitness Class? Simply wear comfortable workout clothes, bring a towel and drink bottle.
