What to do in the kitchen garden in autumn
As summer winds down there’s still plenty to do in the garden. Come join us at the Gungaderra Community Garden to learn about what to do and plant in the kitchen garden in autumn and winter.
Saturday 22nd March, 10am - 12pm
Saturday 29th March, 10am - 12pm
Get your hands in the soil, meet local people and try out the community garden space.
This event is free but bookings enable us to know how many people we are expecting - you can book for each event individually or come along to both!
FACILITATOR
These events will be run by Gurkan Yeniceri (Canberra Gardener) who is a member of the Canberra Environment Centre's Committee.

CATERING
Morning tea will be provided, including tea, coffee and light refreshments.
EVENT ACCESSIBILITY
Gungaderra Homestead has wheelchair access as well as access to bathrooms and kitchen facilities. The community garden, where the event will be held, is on uneven ground/ grass.
SAFETY INFORMATION
This event will be held outdoors. We suggest you bring along a drink bottle and sun protection.

Your own garden gloves if desired.
