Come and Try Paddling, Saturday 2th Sept 2023, OAS Paddling Stage 1-4

Youth members aged 11 years plus (Scout Section up) will have the opportunity to undertake a half day paddling activity.

Youth will have the opportunity to:

    • Work on OAS Paddling Stages 1 - 4. 

    • Capsize and get wet (weather dependent).

    • Develop navigation skills, paddling around Delfin Island, West Lakes

PAYMENT:

    • Cost: $20 per person, payable at registration

SESSION:

The day will consist of a morning or afternoon session. 

There are 20 places available for each session.

Morning session:  Stages 1 - 4

8:30 – 11:30am

Afternoon session: Stages 2 - 4

12:30pm – 3:30pm

WHAT TO BRING:

BOOKING / Y4:

    • Y4 (in MyScout) MUST be completed and emailed to abc.paddling.events@sa.scouts.com.au by the closing date, Friday 25th of August 2023    

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• All participants will be emailed on Friday evening, 1st September 2023 to confirm event is proceeding or changing to Sunday 10th September 2023, due to conditions.
• Refund payable in the event the activity is cancelled by organisers.

YOUTH LEADERS / ADULT HELPERS:

    • Youth leader and adult helpers are welcome to register (via MyScout) and attend

    • Youth leaders and adult helpers may have the opportunity to participate if the event is not fully booked.  Cost $20 per person, payable on the day.
