Description
We welcome those who have a lived experience of disability, who are neurodivergent, and/or live with chronic illness to join us in a monthly social network group.

28th May at 2.30-3.30
Where will the event occur?
Murdoch University South St Campus Sir Walter's Restaurant 425.2.005 (ground level)
What will May's event look like?
These are very relaxed events, and we invite people to come and go as they please.
Registration is important to ensure that enough coffee/tea/juice and light refreshments are provided.
Activity: Create your own conversation starter badge.
Soft speaker: Welcome and launch of inaugural Come as You Are event.
What is the come as you are social group?
The Come as You Are social support network is an opportunity for students and staff within the Murdoch community who have lived experiences with disabilities, who are neurodivergent and/or live with chronic illness. The Office of the PVC EDI are hosting a series of monthly morning and afternoon teas designed to build a supportive network of peers who share similar lived experiences.
In the final week of each month, a morning or afternoon tea will be held at Sir Walter's. Light refreshments, soft speakers, and a small kinaesthetic activity (hands-on/tactile, such as crafts) to keep the hands busy while we talk and catch up will be provided.
By rotating between morning and afternoon teas, we hope to provide equal opportunity for those whose energy levels vary throughout the day.
We look forward to seeing you there.
