Event description

Comedy at Bean Central in July brings you some amazing local and interstate talent.

Sarah Stewart is a Boomer, midwife, mother and married to a hoarder. Now she's doing comedy around Canberra and was part of the very successful Women's Room at the Canberra Comedy Festival.

Cy Fahey - is a man whose flight of fancy is as weird as his confronting sense of identity.

Cameron Ribbon - The reviews are in on Cameron and they are nothing short of spectacular, ‘Not funny’ - Mum, ‘Leave me alone’ - Dad, ‘Cash or card?’ - local Woolies worker. Just a boy from the bush, trying to relive his glory year of 1997 when he was named southwest regional fairy bread eating champion.

Laura Johnston - You don’t see a musical comedian who can’t read music everyday! Laura is also 0.5cm taller than her mother and is an aspiring e-sports commentator. Ask her about e-fishing. I dare you.

Chris Marlton - Chris Marlton delivers an innovative brand of comedy, with bravado, precision and charisma. A one-man gala, Chris brings colourful, uniquely hilarious characters to the stage, packed full of sharp observations, flawlessly performed accents and surprising conclusions. Chris will take you on a journey without having to leave your seat.

Nicole Seifert - Celebrant, MC, Comedian and Producer of Comedy at Bean Central & Ruby's Cafe, Nicole is One Angry Mother Frocker and has been using comedy to replace the internal scream of being a single mother, and life fixer for all, who is yet to find her demi-god.

She has finally found her voice four years into her comedy journey, and it's not as angry as she makes it out to be. Nicole performs between Sydney and Canberra, running two comedy rooms and a safe space for comedians to get together and support each other.

Comedy Improv is a 10-minute experiment where the comedians come together and perform a skit comedy at the end of each show, you the audience may have the opportunity to join your favourite comedians on stage. An interaction is rarely seen in a comedy room.
