Wollongong Comedy and Jervis Bay Brewing Co are proud to present three of the funniest comedians working in Australia today. The lineup is headlined by superstar Peter Berner with Chris Ryan and Stu MacPherson filling the bill for a night of cracking hilarity.

Peter Berner is without doubt one of Australia’s most popular and respected media entertainers, stand-up comics. He started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1988. Since this time he has performed locally and internationally, as well as writing and performing solo comedy shows in festivals in Australia and the UK. His intelligent humour has always set him apart as one performer who can comfortably straddle comedy styles as disparate as satire, observational comedy and reactive comedy with ease leaving audiences in hysterics.

A journalist, a Mum and a comedian, Chris Ryan’s take on everything from passive aggressive co-workers to romance earned her a Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2019 and a Best Newcomer Nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2021. Chris’s stand up is based on her life and the people in it, making it real and relatable, delivered in her signature understated, laconic style. If you’re looking for a song and dance, you’re not getting it.
