Comedy at the Taproom
The Taproom is bringing the laughs along with the draughts this Fringe Festival.
Join Sydney comedian Thao for her hilarious show Marmalade as she shares the best use of a baby-on-board sign, her confrontation with one of Australia's best-known celebrity chefs that led to this show's name and the number one thing to NEVER do on a first date! Thao almost died on a bus, almost died on a refugee boat and almost died of embarrassment after drinking seven ciders on an empty stomach. There won’t be any jokes about oranges but it will be ‘jam’ packed with subjects such as religion, relationships, racism and even tips on finding a good restaurants. Winner of Short & Sweet comedy and winner of multiple open mic contests Thao’s comedy is just like Marmalade - sharply sweet.
Joining Thao on the bill is Melbourne's Jarryd Goundrey, "Australia's least decorated soldier". A soldier turned stand-up comedian, he is currently touring across the nation. Jarryd has sold out the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and opened for Dave Hughes, Joel Creasy, Kitty Flanagan, Jimoen and more.
