Come whip up a tight 5 with Freddie and Carmelo and get ready for your next open mic.

Your hosts:

Mildura-born comedian Freddie Arthur is a RAW Comedy National Finalist for 2025. She has performed in the U.K, on SBS and alongside comedy legends Claire Hooper, Geraldine Hickey and Denise Scott.

Carmelo Costa is a comedian and writer based in Melbourne. He performed at The Festival Club in 2025 and was touted by Theatre Matters as "the best Queer comedian at MICF."

All experience levels welcome. 18+ event. Venue is partially wheelchair accessible (the workshop space is accessible but the bathroom is not. There are wheelchair accessible amenities nearby - contact for some more info)

This event is FREE. Any donations will go to Mallee Arts coLAB who have very kindly let us use their space.

Carmelo and Freddie will also be performing in Friends of Comedy, a comedy lineup show at The Setts Mildura on Sunday Dec 7 at 2pm. Both these events have been supported through Victoria's Pride, a partnership between the Victorian Government and Midsumma.
