Coming Home: A Weekly Meditation Session

In a world growing louder by the day, this is your hour to come home—back to your breath, your heart, and a sense of connection that nourishes rather than drains.

Led by Claire Spencer, a lifelong Buddhist practitioner and Stage 4 cancer survivor, this weekly guided session blends over 30 years of embodied meditation experience with the raw clarity that comes from facing mortality.

Together with her husband, Tamkey, a former Tibetan Buddhist monk, Claire brings the heart of traditional teachings into a profoundly human, practical space.

Rooted in the Tibetan Lojong (mind training) tradition, these sessions offer tools to steady the mind, soften the heart, and meet life’s challenges with compassion and courage. Each week, we gather to:

  • Reconnect with the breath and body through foundational mindfulness

  • Practice Loving Kindness, Tonglen, and the Purification Breaths

  • Set intentions and reflect on how to bring resilience into daily life

  • Build a compassionate community grounded in presence, not perfection

  • Dwell in the beauty and spaciousness of silence

These teachings aren’t theoretical—they are lived, transformative, and here for anyone seeking refuge, clarity, or simply a space to feel again.

Whether you’re navigating difficulty, looking for meaning, or want to deepen your meditation practice, you’re warmly invited to come home with us.

This class is held online via Zoom. The link will be emailed 2 days before each session.
